PROJECT DETAILS
include distillates (the lighter fractions) and residues (the heavier fractions).
Fuel Oil refers only to the heaviest commercial fuels that crude oil can yield
However, we deliver fuel oil of different grades ranging from low sulfur fuel oil to bunker quality of high sulfur fuel oil, and with our expertise in blending, we can source the cutter stocks and meet our customers’ required quality and specifications either to power plants or ships or industry.
Mazut-100 is a heavy fuel oil that is manufactured almost solely in the Russian Federation, Kazakhstan, Azerbaijan, and Turkmenistan to GOST specifications GOST 10585-99, GOST 10585-75 is not active and was merged into new specifications. (GOST is the Russian system of standards, much like ASTM, or ANSI, for example).
However, few refineries in India have recently started producing a similar heavy fuel oil grade as Mazut. We supply similar grades from some Asian refineries.
The grades are represented by these sulphuric levels:
”Very Low Sulphur” is mazut with a sulphur content of 0.5%
”Low Sulphur” is a mazut with a sulphur content of 0.5-1.0%
”Normal Sulphur” is a mazut with a sulphur content of 1.0-2.0%
”High Sulphur” is a mazut with a sulphur content of 2.0-3.5%.
EN590.
Very Low Sulfur mazut is generally made from the lowest sulfur crude feedstocks. Mazut is typically used for larger boilers in producing steam since the BTU content is high.
We can supply a similar grade of fuel oil as Mazut M100 from India and a few Middle Eastern refineries. No brokers, and no mandates involved. We work as a controlling authorized facilitator between the refineries and end consumers.
